Kim Harris spends her time collecting sticks and twigs and shaping them into charming chairs, flower boxes, trellises and
plant stands. Kim strives for excellence as she shapes her materials into unique works that are based on natural materials, so no two pieces are identical.
Kim was born and raised in Bedford, N.S, and spent much of her childhood recreation time in the local woodlands. Kim's
father instilled in her an appreciation of the beauty of the natural world, and with much delight, Kim returned to the woods after years in office administration. For the past several
years, Kim has successfully created a lifestyle that allows her to be home when her son returns from school. As a Maritimer, our weather doesn't deter Kim from getting out there to
collect her raw materials, and with the support of her husband and son, she is pursuing her dream job.
You can find Kim's work at our local art & artisan shows, or contact her for information... not only does she love
working with wood, but also gets great satisfaction from bumping into new folks!
