Nova Scotia Skiff Boat Shelf, created by Riverworks Studio

Riverworks Studio specializes in custom crafted Mission Style furniture and home accessories. We also offer the "Nova Scotia Skiff" limited edition boat shelf. Each boat shelf is hand built in our shop from native Nova Scotia white pine and trimmed with local hardwoods such as ash, oak, and cherry.

In addition to the classic 4 foot Nova Scotia Skiff Boat Shelf, we are pleased to introduce the 6 foot and 8 foot floor models. Each series is limited to 500 pieces. Every boat shelf is numbered, dated and signed by its builder in New Germany, Lunenburg County, and is sure to become a valued collector's item and a treasured family heirloom.

Riverworks Studio also creates unique home accessories such as hardwood serving trays, cradles, privacy screens, and more. With our focus on custom crafted Mission Style furniture, Riverworks is adept at meeting the needs of customers who have seen a piece they like but would like customized to their needs in terms of size, wood species, or finish. We provide clients an opportunity to design a fine "one of a kind" item at substantial savings.

Riverworks was established in the year 2000 on the banks of the LaHave River in New Germany, Lunenburg County. Everything we build is lovingly crafted from native Nova Scotia woods: pine, oak, ash, birch, maple, beech, and others. Our "Handmade in Lunenburg County" skiffs and other items have found homes in Vancouver, Toronto, St. John's, and Honduras. Pricing and shipping quotes for any of our products are available on request.
